Shashank Kashyap, Hanna Burenkova, and Marcus Krüger reported on current endothelial cell research at the 24th National Meeting on Gravitational Biology (Gravimeeting) in Erlangen: Towards Understanding Endothelial Cells in Microgravity.

With today's defense, Lena Nieke has successfully completed her master's thesis on the topic “Effect of RPM-Induced Simulated Microgravity on Extracellular Matrix Remodeling and Mechanotransduction in Human Cardiac Fibroblasts”. Congratulations, Lena!!!

As part of the Introduction to Medical Science in Space course, our students from the Biomechanical Engineering Master's program visited the “Body Worlds” exhibition in Magdeburg. The aim was to develop a feeling for the properties of our organ systems that are influenced by a stay in space.
