During our visit to the Institute of Aerospace Medicine (DLR Cologne), we had the opportunity to tour a hermetically sealed former wind tunnel. Its complete isolation makes it possible to simulate biological experiments aboard spacecraft or space stations (closed-loop systems) or even to study plant growth under conditions similar to those on the Moon or Mars.

The CANCEROIDS team completed the first SVT on the FLUMIAS Science Reference Model at the DLR User Center for Space Experiments (MUSC) in Cologne.
