ISGP meeting 2026 in Cologne

28.05.2026 -

José and Shashank presented their research projects at the 45th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Gravitational Physiology (ISGP) in Cologne this week.

Alongside questions in the field of space biology - cancer and cardiovascular research under microgravity conditions - the focus this time was also on technical and methodological advances achieved by a fantastic interdisciplinary team at OVGU/UMMD. Thanks to the intersection of life sciences and engineering (and a bit of tinkering), it is now possible to create more physiologically relevant microenvironments for human cell cultures during parabolic flights, enabling even more accurate cell biology data.
