New all-in-one fluorescence microscope

05.12.2025 -

Today, our new KEYENCE BZ-X1000 was officially put into operation. In the coming years, it will be used, among other things, to analyze the formation, structure, and function of three-dimensional cell aggregates that have developed under different culture conditions. Numerous additional modules and an incubator unit enable long-term observation of living cells and automated assays for viability, proliferation, migration, and pharmacokinetics, which are of central importance for a variety of experimental questions at the MTRM. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Unit of Research & Third-Party Funding Management at the OVGU Faculty of Medicine and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the opportunity to purchase this equipment and for their tremendous support, as well as to Keyence for their excellent and prompt service.
