Marcus Krüger, Thorsten Walles and Cornelia Wiese-Rischke answered questions from the MDR about lunar dust research in Saxony-Anhalt.

We presented the possibilities of microgravity research and aspects of environmental cell biology at the Long Night of Science under the program item "Biologie trifft Technik".

As part of the Introduction to Medical Science in Space course, our students from the Biomechanical Engineering Master's program visited the “Body Worlds” exhibition in Magdeburg. The aim was to develop a feeling for the properties of our organ systems that are influenced by a stay in space.

Lena's abstract “Spinning Heart: Extracellular Matrix Remodeling Under Simulated Microgravity. Lessons Learnt from RPM Experiments" was selected by the International Society for Gravitational Physiology for a presentation at this year's annual meeting in Sapporo (18.-23.05.2025).
