Infections in hematology and oncology
The Tumorzentrum Magdeburg/Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. cordially invites you to the 7th Interdisciplinary Symposium “Infections in Hematology and Oncology,” which will take place on January 28, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in Lecture Hall 7 of the University Medical Center Magdeburg.
The continuing education event is aimed at physicians and medical professionals from clinics and practices. The focus will be on current and practice-relevant aspects of infectiology in hematological and oncological patients.
During and after the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, respiratory viral infections remain a significant challenge. In addition, topics such as antibiotic stewardship and infectious complications of modern cell and immune therapies (e.g., CAR-T cells and bispecific antibodies) are becoming increasingly relevant. The program will be complemented by new developments in microbiological diagnostics. Further information can be found in the flyer.
